Utilizing Taxbot's Email syncing technology allows emailed receipts to be scanned and imported into Taxbot to keep your records complete.
Taxbot has the ability to identify vendors and totals from emailed receipts and then categorizes the expense for you before presenting the expense to you for approval.
In order to take advantage of this feature it is necessary to have a Gmail account. Many people either use Gmail or their email may already be hosted on using Google's services. If this is the case, you are ready to sync.
If not, there is a simple workaround that will still allow you to participate with the email syncing technology.
