As an auto shop owner, you know that your paycheck relies on your customer loyalty. You want to see the same customers coming in year after year for things like inspections, oil changes, and car repairs. Here are four tips that will assist you in ensuring you create loyalty in your existing customer base.

Send Out Postcard Reminders

With so many things going on in their busy lives, it’s common for customers to forget when they need to have their car inspected. It only happens once a year, so it’s easy to forget. Help make life easier on your customers by sending them a postcard reminder when their inspection expiration date is coming up. Your customers will love the reminder and you’ll likely see a lot more of your past customers returning for their annual inspection.

One of the best ways to help consumers remember when they need to get their oil changed is to use reminder stickers. These oil change stickers simply apply to the windshield after the oil is changed. People love getting free things from businesses. It doesn’t have to be anything overly costly to your business. Just ensure that it has your logo on it and people will use it regularly. Great items include t-shirts, reusable water bottles, letter openers, coffee cups, and similar items. Every time the consumer goes to use the item, they’ll remember your brand name.
